As the family room and local pub become increasingly compelling options to watch a game, today’s leading stadiums/ arenas are equipping themselves with new experiences that can’t be had outside the venue. On October 25, 2019, the Audiovisual Fan Experience 2.0 roundtable at SDDS, the Stadium Design & Development Summit, gathered sports industry leaders – from teams, venues, leagues, and design/ architecture firms, and AV integration firms – to discuss today’s fan experience and the ways in which technology is increasingly central to creating memorable moments that are unique to the venue. This roundtable features Chris Lavelle, AVIXA’s Senior Director of Development, was joined by Mike Bedford, Michael Vekich, Tyler Kicera, Mika Sulin, Mark Murphy, and Tom Jones.
