22miles Digital Signage for Non-profits & Organizations - Case Study | Foundation for the Carolinas
Located in downtown Charlotte North Carolina, Foundation for the Carolinas has served as a catalyst for philanthropic activity, major civic efforts, and charitable innovation since its establishment back in 1958.
As one of the largest community foundations in the U.S, the foundation supports personal and corporate philanthropy through a range of innovative endeavors. The foundation’s multi-floored headquarters houses impressive art galleries, conference rooms, and other unique areas that grant inspiring views of the neighboring downtown T
The facility utilizes 22Miles interactive digital signage & visual communications technology, via digital screens, positioned across multiple floors for users to engage with. The screens provide information on the many stunning works of art on site, the artists who created them, historical information about the Foundation for the Carolinas, as well as access to their website and online properties.
Users have their choice of walking up to the individual screens and touching them to begin their interactive engagement OR using their mobile device and scanning a QR code to have a “Touch-free” experience to access the same information.
The interactive touch-screens allow visitors to learn about the art and artists, view schedules and events information, and learn about the Foundation without having to rely on questioning staff.
The screens can be customized to display and easily update whatever information the facility’s administrators choose to share, and with drag and drop functionality and dedicated support, these admins can create any visual user experience they desire.
As the foundation’s needs grow, they have the capability to incorporate wayfinding, video-walls, AI integrated enterprise solutions or other 22Miles offerings to continue to embellish the unique user experience for guests.
