This course is targeted at installers, integrators and consultants who would like to learn more about HDBaseT technology. With relevant content to both the beginner and the expert installer, this course will include the following modules:
- Introduction to HDBaseT (the challenges in the AV market, about the technology, introduction about the Alliance), the bandwidth challenge (compression, HDMI 2.0 & above)
- HDBaseT Specs (V1.0, V2.0 & V3.0), HDBaseT 5Play (audio/video, USB, Ethernet, Controls & Power)
- Interoperability and system design (including device interoperability, cabling & terminations, certification & troubleshooting).
Learning Objectives:
- Learn and review HDBaseT's technical concepts and implications in day-to-day installations
- Examine all elements of HDBaseT 5Play, including audio & video, Ethernet, controls, USB & power, and Spec 1.0/2.0/3.0
- Understand best practices for HDBaseT installations, including cables, testing, HDCP, EDID, the importance of interoperability & certification
