The AVIXA Foundation has awarded over $800,000 since 2007 to students and emerging professionals from secondary, undergraduate and graduate programs, who show a keen interest in pursuing careers in the audiovisual industry. Updates to this program will be found below as they become available.

O legado de Michael Vergauwen
O fundo do memorial homenageia as conquistas de Michael Vergauwen em sua carreira na indústria de comunicação AV e sua participação e liderança na associação. A dedicação de Vergauwen à indústria e seus membros funciona como exemplo para todos os associados da AVIXA.Michael Vergauwen foi o COO da AVI Systems e foi parte da diretoria da AVIXA por muito tempo.
Michael se orgulhava de ter dado US$ 200.000 em bolsas para beneficiários merecedores. Ele acreditava muito que o crescimento na indústria AV vem da oferta de oportunidades e do apoio para aqueles que querem entrar para a indústria e que buscam desenvolver suas carreiras.
Seu talento — e gentileza — fortaleceu a comunidade AV. Após sua morte em 2009, a AVIXA criou essa bolsa para dar continuidade às suas crenças de fortalecer e desenvolver a indústria AV por meio do ensino.
