Artist and designer Monika Bielskyte will join AVIXA’s TIDE conference at Integrated Systems Europe (ISE) 2018 in Amsterdam as the closing keynote speaker.
FAIRFAX, VA – DEC. 6, 2017 – Artist and designer Monika Bielskyte will join AVIXA’s TIDE conference at Integrated Systems Europe (ISE) 2018 in Amsterdam as the closing keynote speaker. On Feb. 5, the day before the ISE show floor opens, Bielskyte will join a roster of influential innovators, designers, and marketers at Hotel Okura Amsterdam to explore the creative forces shaping the AV industry.
Bielskyte creates future-world prototypes for the entertainment industry, technology companies, and cities. A large part of her time is devoted to research and strategy in the immersive media technology space (augmented, mixed, and virtual reality). Her clients include Hollywood production companies Ridley Scott Associates, Universal, and Dreamworks; technology giants CERN, Intel, and Google; design companies Rick Owens and Aston Martin; and the United Arab Emirates government.
Bielskyte will bookend the conference that kicks off with opening keynote speaker Daan Roosegaarde, an internationally acclaimed creative thinker and founder of Studio Roosegaarde. His firm develops projects that explore the relationship between people, technology, and space.
The TIDE conference in Amsterdam will focus on design thinking, bringing together designers, brand marketers, content creators, systems integrators, live events producers, and end users to share their different perspectives. These innovators will demonstrate the dynamic results and incredible experiences that come from taking a closer look at the role design plays in business.
Also joining the TIDE conference is Ben Moorsom, President and Chief Creative Officer of Debut Group, a marketing agency focused on experiential training, event production and communications consulting. Moorsom is transforming the way companies communicate by drawing upon research in the fields of neuroscience and human psychology.
The current lineup of TIDE speakers includes:
- Jan-Erik Baars, Head of the Design Management Program at the University of Applied Science
- Monika Bielskyte, Artist and Designer
- Pedro Gadanho, Director of MAAT, the new Museum of Art, Architecture
- Kevin Jackson, Marketer and Editor-and-Chief of Live Communication Magazine
- Julien Le Bas, Senior Vice President and Executive Creative Director for Jack Morton Worldwide
- Ben Moorsom, President and Chief Creative Officer of Debut Group
- Daan Roosegaarde, Founder of Studio Roosegaarde
Kevin Jackson will host the day, ensuring a fast-paced and interactive experience for TIDE attendees. In roles with some of the world’s most-respected marketing services groups and live-event agencies, Jackson has worked with a wide range of clients from Adidas to Zumba.
“Corporate growth starts with personal growth — to be constantly learning and seeing the world through new eyes, to network with stimulating people, to make new connections, to be inspired by new thinking, and to allow the energy created to move you into new channels,” said Jackson. “This is what TIDE offers — design thinking, moving people to think, and then to act. At its heart, design thinking is applied creativity. Designers — indeed all of us in the live-experience industry — are creative problem-solvers, and to have the best and the brightest on stage in Amsterdam is an opportunity that no one should pass up.”
TIDE’s Global Partners Biamp and Nureva sponsor AVIXA’s TIDE conference program.
