Know you are not required to take any courses or purchase anything to prepare. But many of your peers have found success with AVIXA’s resources.

Taking the Exam

Yes, you must have a valid CTS credential before sitting for the CTS-I exam.

Before registering with Pearson VUE, register for the CTS-I exam with the online application. After your application is processed and payment is completed for the exam fee, check your inbox for an email with the subject line, “CTS-I Candidate Eligibility Notice”. Directions on how to finish your registration and your Candidate ID can be found in the email. Keep in mind that you have 120 days to take the exam from the day your Eligibility Notice is emailed to you.

Nonmembers pay:
$590 (USD), 570€ (EUR), £475(GBP), or AU$940(AUD)

Premium and Elite members pay:
$490 (USD), 475€ (EUR), £395 (GBP), or AU$780 (AUD)

No, you are not required to complete any courses to complete the exam. The preparation for the exam can be done based on what each individual needs.

Applicants are only required to have an active CTS certification. We recommend having at least
3-4 years of experience before applying.
