As a minister in the Greater Boston Area with a background broadcasting and science, Christopher Hope was inspired to mentor and provide a pathway to the audiovisual industry to youth who needed a helping hand to maximize their potential. Hope founded the The Loop Lab with a hopes of inspiring the next generation of technology professionals. In this interview, we talk to Christopher Hope about The Loop Lab.
The Loop Lab is a BIPOC-led nonprofit social enterprise specializing in media arts internships and digital storytelling. Their mission is to empower womxn and people of color in the media arts to develop careers in AV through job training and job placement.
As a multi-racial organization, The Loop Lab is committed to ending inequality and racism through digital storytelling. They are also an official sponsor for AV apprenticeships in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
