The officers of the Board include the Chairman of the Board of Directors; Vice Chair and Secretary Treasurer of AVIXA as well as the Leadership Search Committee Chair. There are four elected at-large Directors and four appointed Directors. Voting for the AVIXA Board of Directors takes place in the fall and is open to current AVIXA members.

Leadership Search Committee
The Leadership Search Committee (LSC) was established by AVIXA in 2008 to find and mentor volunteers to serve on committees and to appear on the next AVIXA election ballot.
The LSC consists of the Leadership Search Committee Chair; the Chairman of the Board of Directors, Vice Chair and Secretary-Treasurer of AVIXA; three members elected by AVIXA membership; and four members appointed by the Leadership Search Committee Chair. The LSC will make appointments and nominations and will make suggestions to committee chairs, the Board, and the Chairman of the Board of Directors for their use in recruiting committee members.
