An AV Content Producer works with a team to produce audio, light shows, or video content that is delivered through pro AV systems. Content producers may create audio, graphic or video content for fixed displays, such as retail applications, transportation centers or sporting venues, or for temporary applications such as concerts, trade shows, museum exhibitions, or outdoor rallies.They may shoot and edit video, program light displays, or create soundscapes. Increasingly content has an interactive element that consumers can dynamically manipulate and immerse in.

Content Producers inherently have core creative art and user experience skills. They have a working knowledge of AV technology capabilities and the ability to work with a team to bring a customer’s vision to life. Content producers may work freelance, as part of a larger agency, or in-house for a venue.
