InfoComm organizers have announced the new Integrated Life content program and exhibition for InfoComm 2018, which returns to the Las Vegas Convention Center June 2-8, 2018. Integrated Life @ InfoComm 2018 comprises a special track of workshops and sessions, plus a dedicated area on the InfoComm 2018 show floor, for spotlighting smart building, smart home, mobile, security and related audiovisual solutions that create integrated experiences wherever people use technology.

InfoComm China 2017 completed its three-day run at the China National Convention Centre on April 14, registering marked growth in every aspect of the show. Attendance at the three-day exhibition registered a record 20.3-percent increase compared to 2016, with total visitor count clocked at 32,074.

InfoComm’s Oceania Regional Awards recognise AV professionals in the region for their outstanding contributions, leadership and commitment to excellence. Awards nominations are now being accepted and judged by an InfoComm regional awards committee in the following five categories: Oceania CTS Holder of the Year Award, Oceania Educator of the Year Award, Oceania Distinguished Achievement Award, Oceania Women in AV Award and Young AV Professional Award. In a sixth category, InfoComm staff will select the winner to take home the Oceania Volunteer of the Year Award.

The International Communications Industries Foundation (ICIF), a non-profit charitable and educational organization created by InfoComm International® to support the audiovisual industry, is pleased to announce the recipient of the 2017 Michael Vergauwen Scholarship. Jacob Faber, a junior from the University of British Columbia pursuing a degree in electrical engineering and design, will receive $5,000 to support his education in the audiovisual field.
