CTS Prep In-Person

CTS Prep (Certified Technology Specialist™ CTS® Exam Preparation) is a valuable course designed to help individuals enhance their confidence and readiness for the CTS exam. Here's a summary of the key points:

Class Schedule

This course will be taught in three sessions from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. ET on:

    -Tuesday, January 7
    -Wednesday, January 8
    -Thursday, January 9

Who Should Enroll

• Members and non-members who are preparing for InfoComm’s Certified Technology Specialist (CTS) credential.
• Current CTS holders who wish to refresh and update their knowledge.

Prerequisites

• For students with less than a year of experience in operating and supporting AV technology, it is strongly recommended that students complete Essentials of AV Technology or pass the AVIXA-Recognized AV Technologist Test before taking CTS Prep.
• Students who require additional preparation in AV math are encouraged to take "AV Math Online."

Course Highlights

• This is a three-day instructor-led classroom course with eight hours of instruction per day, and it may require additional evening work.
• The course covers the following key aspects:

-Exploring the CTS exam format.

-Learning test-taking strategies and gaining insights into what to expect on the day of the exam.

-Studying with the guidance of facilitators.

-Reviewing exam content areas, including creating, operating, and servicing AV solutions, as well as conducting management activities.

• It's essential to understand that completion of this CTS Prep program does not guarantee that you will pass the CTS exam.
• This program may not cover all the topics listed in the test outline.
• Registering for CTS Prep does not automatically enroll you for the CTS exam. The CTS exam requires a separate application, payment, and scheduling at a Pearson Vue testing center.
