Prerequisites

There are no prerequisites. Candidates may enroll at any level of skill or experience. However, it is recommended that students complete Essentials of AV Technology Online.

Course Features

This three-day classroom course is eight hours per day. Additional evening work may be required. During this course you will:

  • Learn to sell, plan, execute and complete an AV project successfully
  • Explore critical knowledge areas of the Guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK® Guide)
  • Define and understand the typical AV industry project life cycle(s) and project stakeholders
  • Determine requirements and validate assumptions
  • Identify the important project metrics to be captured, measured and analyzed within the typical AV industry methodology
  • Create scope statement and work breakdown structure describing applicable project deliverables
